• ‘Backdating’은 문서상의 날짜를 과거로 소급 적용(날짜 조작)하는 걸 뜻해요.
• 초중급자들은 이 단어 자체가 낯설고 법적 용어로 어려워할 수 있어요.

 

Although backdating options is legal, violations arise related to disclosures under IRC, Section 409A. 

옵션 백데이팅은 합법적이지만 투명성을 유지하지 않으면 불법행위로 간주할 수 있다. IRC 섹션 409A에 나와있지.

• 1970년대 뉴욕 경찰이었던 양심적인 내부 고발자인데 부패한 경찰 조직의 내부 비리를 고발하고 혼자서 정의를 지킨 인물로 유명해요.
• 그의 이야기를 바탕으로 만든 영화 《Serpico》(1973) 가 대히트를 치면서,

When I was in college, it was my dream to be a lawyer.
